Juno
An Oscar winner for Best Original Script, the movie is about Juno, a sixteen year-old rock n roller with a gross taste for gore movies. Juno is your typical rebel girl, doesn't care what people think of her.
So on a regular f*cked up day, Juno decided to have sex with her best friend Paulie Bleeker, and this one time sex ended up with her being pregnant...
How would Juno deal with her child?
Tagline:
A comedy about growing up... and the bumps along the way.
This movie is pretty hillarious to me, a little drama along the way and have some pretty cool lines to remember.
A MUST WATCH!
10,000 BC
An epic story of a tribe that hunts the Mammoth face the danger of extinction and slavery by a superior race. The tribesmen of Yagahl sustained their life in the bare snow mountains by hunting mammoths for their food and clothing. But time after time, the mammoths began to come longer and longer. The elder witch of their tribe predicted that the tribe would face an extinction soon and only the child with the blue-eye can save them. Thus the legend of the blue-eyed child began...
A good movie but pretty boring and easily predicted for me.
Vantage Point
During an international summit against Terrorism in Spain, the President of the United States has been assassinated. One of the Secret Service agent guarding the president, Thomas Barnes, was in shock and desperately searching the assassin. He lost contact with the Control and forced to take independent measures to contain the situation. He then encountered more shocking fact on a press-recorded videotape.
The movie is basically a 10-15 minute event, shot from 8 different subjects and perspectives. Each perspectives reveal intriguing events that eventually lead to the truth. Action-wise, this movie offers a good car-chase, man-chase, explosions, shoot-outs and some more.
Plot-wise, If you think you figured it out... Think Again
Tagline: 'If you think you've seen it all...Look Again'
A great movie which differs from the mainstream.

Disturbia - SPOILER!
humm just watched this movie... although I expect a 'disturbing' movie... it came out just fine... your regular reflection on your disturbed neighborhood would describe this movie better...
So this movie is about a high-school kid, who lost his father in a car crash a year ago. He was kinda depressed but trying to move on, bla bla bla...
Once, he forgot to do a Spanish assignment... when he was cornered by his teacher, the teacher mentioned about his father... and then he explode and assaulted the teacher... this resulted in a 3-months house arrest where he would not be able to go farther than 100 feet from his house.
Violating this rule would immediately alarm the police and they would be able to track him through the GPS system cuffed on his left ankle.
So the arrest began, he was stressed cause his mother cut his XBOX Live and ITunes Account... she even cut the TV line in his room so that her son could do more 'constructive' work like cleaning up his room and his house :) - ouch...
Then he began to notice his neighborhood, this suburbia... he noticed that some people are really disturbed, there are three kids who watched adult programs, a cheating husband, quarrellings and the worst to come is yet to be revealed... and one more... he got one hot babe as his new neighbor...
so the story begins...
There was a news on TV about a missing woman... witnesses claim that the woman was last seen being picked up by a blue Mustang '60 with a dent on the front left bender... and he saw this exact same car across his window...
might his neighbor be the killer?

Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer
any of Marvel Comic fans should know that a new hero is about to rise this year...
his first appearance was with Fantastic Four comic series at the #48 edition...
it was "The Galactus Trilogy" edition...
He is silver... he rides an alien silver surfboard... and he has come to destroy us... Silver Surfer...
Norrin Radd was a young astronomer of the planet Zenn-La. In order to save his homeworld from destruction by a fearsome cosmic entity known as Galactus, Norrin made a bargain with the being, pledging himself to serve as its herald. Imbued in return with a small portion of Galactus' Power Cosmic, Norrin acquired great powers, a silvery appearance, and a surfboard-like vehicle — all modeled after a childhood fantasy of his. Known from then on as the Silver Surfer, Norrin began to roam the cosmos searching for new planets for Galactus to consume. When his travels finally took him to Earth, the Surfer came face-to-face with the Fantastic Four, a team of powerful superheroes that helped him to rediscover his nobility of spirit. Betraying Galactus, the Surfer saved Earth but was punished in return with everlasting exile there.

humm at first I didn't have any expectation of what this movie would be. I just want to see the Silver Surfer in action since he's one of my favorite superhero. He's silver and he's a surfer... :)
but somehow around the middle part of the movie, I got bored. Too much 4 in action actually. The Surfer remained a mystery. Until later on at the movie plot.
I don't mind seeing the 4 got all cramped up with the troubles and drama of Reed's lying to Sue and their bachelor/ette parties... too much Spiderman factor in this movie i suppose... (the one with 'from great power comes great responsibilities')
the visual fx works perfect tho... I am simply amazed each time the surfer's on screen. Just like a child seeing their hero in action I guess :p (blame me! I AM a child still)
but overall, I'm kinda tad disappointed. That also goes with my friends... only some of them enjoyed the movie. Not much to discuss afterwards.
Visual: 10 (you would sit in awe! at least for me tho)
Sound/Tracks: 8 (some great tracks and backing tunes)
Casts: 10 (don't you just love Alba being nude and invisible at the same time :p)
Plot: 3 (seriously... kinda worst superhero story that was saved by great casts and characters)
Official Site: 10 (you would say WOW!)
Overall: 7 (you will watch a lame story with great casts, visual fxs and expectation of a Marvel Superhero)
Conclusion: Watch it when you have spare cash :)
Trivia: (SPOILERS!)
Dr Doom reappearance was not supposed to be in the same story as the Galactus and Silver Surfer appearance. It was meant later after Silver Surfer was banished eternally in the Earth (which was also not the same ending at the movie)
Stan Lee (the original writer) appeared in this movie as a rejected guest at Reed and Sue's wedding. In the original comic book, this event also happened to fictional characters of himself and the other writer/artist Jack Kirby who also being rejected at Reed and Sue's wedding.
In the original story, the Surfer is able to use his abilities to such an extent without the Surfboard. The Surfboard only plays role as an energy saver and source in using the Surfer's abilities. Unlike the movie, the Surfer can fly and transfer cosmic energies without physical contact with the Surfboard.
Galactus was originally a giant robot, but the Director Tim Story refuses to have giant robots in his movies, so a giant planet-eating cloud is used as the substitute.
